Job Purpose and Summary

Who we are


Tilete is an e-commerce and logistics start-up that provides a platform for businesses to sell their products online and have them delivered to customers on their behalf. 


We are a very young company (founded in January 2021), but we have big dreams of making the best of Lusaka accessible to everyone by helping businesses extend their reach through our platform and logistics service.


What we're looking for


As we strive to establish ourselves as Lusaka's premier e-commerce solution, we would like to build a team of driven and talented individuals that share our goal to take retail shopping in Zambia to the next level.


A key measure of success for this mission is ensuring that we have great selection products and merchants selling on our platform. Therefore we are looking for 2 passionate Business Development Executives to join us as our first hires.


Responsibilities:

Business Development

We are looking for someone who is results driven, with great networking skills and curiosity to grow our client base.


You will also have:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to sell an idea within a short period of time
  • A proactive and a self-starter attitude with an ability to spot and develop new opportunities where we can't see any.


We will rely on you to be our eyes and ears within our business.


Account Management

As part of your role, you will also maintain a relationship with your accounts, to set them up for success on our platform. You will review their performance on our platform and you will be able provide them with products and solutions to help them increase their sales. Your accounts should see you as a part of their team, adding value to their business.

Further Information


The role will be on a rolling fixed term contract with the hours and work pattern to suit you.
